Indawo
This classic 1970's family shack has recently been restored, while retaining a warm and welcoming feel.

Simple touches and family treasures make it the perfect escape from the stresses of modern life – a chance to slow right down and immerse yourself in the sounds of the ocean and surrounding bush.

With large windows framing expansive sunlit views, this shack’s stylish interior invites you to settle in, unwind and leave a busy world behind.

Curl up on the generous sofa with a blanket and a book, lounge on an inviting cushion by the Nectre wood fire with your favourite music and a board game, or simply enjoy a glass of delicious Tassie wine, whisky or gin in the rocking chair as you watch the sun go down.

The Wayfarer is suitable for couples, families, a getaway with friends or even the solo traveller. It offers 2 bedrooms, a new bathroom, cosy, sun-drenched sitting room, fully equipped kitchen and a wrap-around deck with a Weber barbecue – all designed to prioritise your comfort and maximise your downtime.

So come prepared to fall asleep to the lullaby of the waves from the super comfy beds, laze in the morning sun on the deck, or sip a coffee at the breakfast bar, staring out at that captivating view.

If you are lucky, you might just spot a migrating whale, a pod of dolphins, a passing yacht, or the occasional hang glider. . . . . .

Eaglehawk Neck, Tasmania, i-Australia

Eaglehawk Neck is a small town found in southeast Tasmania. It is the perfect spot to explore the Tasman Peninsula including the renowned convict ruins at Port Arthur.

Eaglehawk Neck is built around a narrow bar of land, less than 30 meters wide, connecting the Tasman Peninsula to the Forester Peninsula approximately an hour's southeast of Hobart. The isthmus is bordered by Pirates Bay on the east and Norfolk Bay on the west.

Easy to get to via the winding but gentle Arthur Highway you’ll be mesmerized by the amazing vistas and beautiful waters of Pirates Bay and the many activities in the area. You certainly won’t be bored if you’re taking a trip to Eaglehawk Neck. There is easy access to the challenging Three Capes track, famous geological features such as Tessellated Pavements, the Blowhole, Tasman Arch & Devil’s Kitchen, the Tasmanian Devil Conservation Park at Taranna, the award-winning Pennicott Tasman Island cruise, Remarkable Cave and famous surfing beaches . . . so much to see and do, so allow yourself time.

The area of Eaglehawk Neck has spectacular scenery and incredible geological formations. There is a large range of wildlife around this area including Pademelons, Echidnas, Wombats, Penguins and birdlife - if you are lucky, you might even see a Wedge Tailed Eagle (eaglehawk) or two, which is where the name of the town comes from.

Our favourite coffee place on top of the hill at Pirates Bay lookout is Cubed Espresso which provides stunning views over Eaglehawk Neck. Make sure you try the 'banana bread' - delicious. Open most days (weather dependent)!

Also available close by is:
* Doo-lishus - local fish and chips located at the Blowhole, EHN (Seasonal)
* Restaurant at Lufra Hotel and Apartments, EHN
* Port Arthur Lavender - Coffee, Food and gift store
* 1830 Restaurant and Bar - located at Port Arthur for lunch and dinner
* The Cannery - open daily at Dunalley
* Vanbone Restaurant - high end restaurant, Bream Creek
* Fresh Oysters from Boomer Bay Oysters

Access to explore Tasmanian wineries is a must with: Bangor Vineyard Shed - Lunch & Wine tasting at Dunalley (20 minutes drive) & Bream Creek Vineyard (30 minutes drive) overlooking Marion Bay.

**Bookings recommended. We also encourage you to check opening times (seasonal changes).
