𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗖𝗞-𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗠𝗜𝗗 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗘𝗣𝗧. 𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥 𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚! We're very proud to be an Official PEI Licensed Tourism Vacation Home. The home has been inspected and we've come out with flying colours!
What does that mean for you? Quite simply.. everything is ready for you to just come and enjoy your holiday here. With no worries.
We have also added the extras to ensure you can have an amazing fun stay.
We've installed a UV treatment system in the home so your drinking water is 100% safe.
We've got the home set up for unlimited wifi, as well as satellite ready to play on both the large screen smart tv's. You can also connect from your phone to the home's tv's for your own personal custom Netflix, Prime, Disney, etc channels.
We've got a printer ready for you to access and a workstation desk in the primary br if you still need to do some business while you're here.
We have a jacuzzi tub and an amazing sauna in the bathroom upstairs.. (The sauna is my favourite.. grab a coffee and steam your worries away). Feel free to use some of our essential oils if you like to make it even more special!
One of the awesome things about THE RIVERHOUSE is that the view is magnificent. Where ever you look. Patio doors from the Master Bedroom, patio doors from the Living Room, patio doors from the lower Family room all looking over the water. Every view, every window offers some magic.
The sun comes up over the river in the morning, which means that the moon is above the river at night. You may find yourself getting up several times a night to take a peek at the river waves, and the tide as it changes through the night, and of course all the stars.. so many stars and constellations ..it's really breathtaking.
the primary BR features a King Sized Bed, because... why not? Our second Br is also huge, and features a Queen Sized Bed, and a full sized/twin sized Combo Style bunk bed. The view from there is just as amazing. Both the living room and family room sofas offer full sleeping arrangements.
We've got 2 full baths, one on each level, the upper has the Jacuzzi tub and an amazing cedar sauna, and the downstairs bath has sit down accommodations in the shower.
The main living area: where the family and friends come together.. a large open concept kitchen with an island and high back chairs, a long family style table where game nights happen, and the livingroom with access to the Upper Deck for patio dining and bbq'ing and just plain enjoying the view.
The lower level (which is ground level to the river side), features a second basic kitchen off the family room with access to the ground level for enjoying lobster, oysters, and clams at the picnic table. (and yes, we have a outside lobster pot and propane burner!).

Enjoy the time swinging on the hammocks, or hanging out at the bonfire.
Keep an eye out over the river and above.. we have some regular visitors: herons and eagles in the morning, and cute sandpipers all day long. We've been lucky enough to see two seals in the fall!
Head down our stairs to the beach and our landing and the dock. The tide goes in and out every 12 hours, and changes with the seasons and the moons, so it's a new adventure every day. Sunrises and the sunsets are breathtaking in PEI. We've got a small beach for walking and playing, but again, our tides dictate when that is.
We've got a canoe and some kayaks waiting for you if you'd like to head out for a paddle down the river, and air hockey in the bunkie on rainy days.
And on the rainy days.. you can still enjoy the outside if you just want to relax. The ground level deck is covered by the Upper Deck so you can stay dry and still enjoy the outdoors and rain hitting the river. (Oh, and yes...we've got some great board games ready for play!). Our family favourite? Sequence of course ;)
Coming in the winter? Bring your skates, and snowmobiles... the river is still your playground. Or take the sleds to the Confederation Trail for some beautiful rides. Enjoy the warmth of the fireplace in the livingroom with beautiful views of snow falling on the river. Honestly, it's amazing here every season!
While we are tucked away in a relaxing space, we're also close to shopping, groceries, and all things good. Groceries, drugstore, Tim Hortons, and restaurants are close by. Canteens and dairy bars? Just follow our Route 2, we've got lots.

We are tucked away in what we think is the best spot ever. If you are looking to relax, and enjoy your time while on vacation, then you've come to the right place.

We are close to North Cape, West Point, Bloomfield Corner, Tignish, Alberton, and O'Leary. Harbours, fiisheries and long red roads to the beach are close by, and you'll have fun exploring all the roundabouts along the west side of the island.

Our beautiful river is breathtaking, and perfect for boating, swimming or collecting shells and making sand castles. The wide open ocean is just a few minutes away.

Love to Golf? Just across the river is Mill River Golf Course. It's a beautiful mature forested 18 hole course, and was rated as one of the top 100 Golf Courses in Canada.
A little less experienced? No worries... St. Felix Golf Course is one of our favourites.. a relaxed 9 hole with beautiful views and only a 15 min drive.

While you're here in PEI, you'll want to follow the step of the Islanders... head to the local harbours, grab some chips with the works and enjoy the activity of the fishers getting ready for a day out a sea. They're always friendly, and will stop to answer all your questions. You'll also be able to buy some fresh seafood and fish while you're there.
