Petit Verger is a small village almost in the middle of Mauritius, surrounded by mountains. One of them is called Le Pouce which is easy and fun to climb. At the top, it offers a splendid view of Mauritius. It is only 500 mts from the studio!
My garden is quite big, full of trees and birds.
A peaceful place to meditate !

We are in winter nowadays but ours is quite warm - 18 ° approx. It's also sugar cane harvest time . Interesting to see the harvesters and the lorry carrying the cane to the mill.

The village people are very kind and pleasant people to interact with. We have a nice track for nature walk or jogging leading to Le Pouce mountain.
And the commercial centre Bagatelle is only 1 km away where there are shops, coffee shops, restaurants and supermarket. It's always lively and have a variety of good restaurants.
