Beautiful and spotlessly clean apartment located in Skala Panagia just 3-5 minutes walking distance from Thassos' longest and perhaps most beautiful beach, Golden Beach. Fully equipped kitchen, a lovely kiosk to enjoy your food/coffee outside, easy access to local transportation, close to many supermarkets, restaurants, cafeterias and beach bars. This apartment is part of my family's summer house and we'll be around to help you with anything you might need!

Indawo
This apartment is part of my family's maisonette in Golden Beach, Thassos. We built it as our holiday house in order to spend our summer vacations with family and friends and we wish to make sure that it feels like home to you as well. Its location is ideal for beach lovers since it is situated in just 3-5 minutes walking distance from the beach (just two blocks away from Golden Beach).

It consists of a fully equipped kitchen/living room, a bathroom, a bedroom and it comes with its own outdoor kiosk/gazebo. All of these spaces are at your disposal and you do not have to share them with other guests. We have recently installed inverter air conditioning and for those of you who hate mosquitos this apartment has nets installed on every window guaranteeing a good night's sleep.

The kitchen:
There is a ceramic kitchen stove with a big oven, a small fridge with a freezer, all of the necessary cooking equipment as well as the necessary kitchen utensils. You can also find a kettle, a frappe coffee maker, a coffee maker and a sandwich toaster.

The bedroom:
There is a spacious bedroom has a double bed with a comfortable mattress, a wardrobe and a dressing table with a mirror. Some of these furniture have sharp corners so you might want to be careful to not hurt yourself when in a hurry. The bed is comfortable for two adults and we can also add a baby bed if necessary upon request.

The living/dining room:
The living room is in the same open plan space as the kitchen. There is a cozy couch that can be turned into a double bed and another single bed which we've converted to a couch.

The bathroom:
The bathroom is rather small sized but not tiny. It is comfortable enough and will certainly cover your needs. We will provide you with all the necessary bathroom towels, but please use your own towels at the beach.

OUTDOOR SPACES
The maisonette has 2 yards. Your apartment is at the back of the house, which makes it very quiet compared to the ones facing the road. You are allowed to use the yards' faucets to clean the sand from your body before going up to your apartment.

The gazebo:
There's a gazebo right outside your door that you can use to dine, enjoy your breakfast and coffee or just relax reading a book or surfing the internet.

The entire apartment is at your disposal and you can also park your car in the parking lot depending on the availability of the space. (You don't need to worry about parking because there is plenty of space for free parking just outside our door.

Skala Panagia is a quiet holiday destination targeted mainly to families and couples. There are plenty of nice restaurants (my personal favorite is "La Terrasse"), cafeterias and beach bars and I can provide you with a lot of recommendations. There are 2 mini-markets very close to our house where you can find anything you wish and there is also a butcher shop. If you like fish, there is a street seller that passes daily with his truck and sells fresh fish, but there is also a fish shop at the nearby village, Skala Potamia. In Skala Panagia it is totally acceptable to stroll around dressed in your swimsuit and walking to and from the beach. You can also use your own sunbeds and umbrellas in many areas of this wide beach. Most beach bars offer free sun-beds and umbrellas if you buy something to eat or drink and there is not limit to how much you stay. The locals love this place and prefer it for its crystal clear sea. People here are generally very relaxed and smiley. Make sure you have a look on my guidebook with all of my recommended places around the island!

My family and I stay in the ground-floor apartment during the summer, so we'll be around to help you with anything you need and give you tips & recommendations about the island. We are calm, generous and friendly people. We like to invite our friends over for a coffee or a drink and when this happens you might hear us laugh or talk loudly (Greeks are loud people), but we make sure that everyone is keeping quiet at night. We want to meet our guests and learn your stories, but if you don't feel like socializing, that's totally fine with us as well! We can be very discreet as we can be extroverted. My parents do not speak English apart from some basic words (although they can definitely communicate using translation apps), but I'll make sure I'll be around when we host you and if this is impossible I'll make arrangements with my sister or cousins.
