Mia Mia Vistas offers pure privacy for the perfect getaway. It is a beautiful three bedroom house perched atop 45 acres & cleverly divided into two villa units under one roof: 1 bed villa & 2 bed villa. We only let one villa at a time or both units as a three bed house, so only one booking can take place. There are no other cottages, no owner's house on the land. Just you. You will have 45 acres all to yourselves!

The breathtaking mountain views as far as the eye can see, absolute serenity & picturesque landscapes make Mia Mia Vistas a magnet for photographers, honeymooners, sunset & sunrise lovers, stargazers & nature seekers. Prepare to enjoy your own slice of serenity at Mia Mia Vistas. This beautiful home comprises king & queen bedrooms with views of spectacular landscapes. The roomy & stylish open plan lounge is well appointed to enjoy the ever-changing glorious vistas. Kick back in the comfy oversized L-shaped sofa watching a Netflix-enabled Smart TV or simply enjoy the crackle of the fire. Craft sumptuous feasts in the well equipped open plan kitchen fit for a chef with dining area perfect for entertaining.

There is a bathroom with a spa bath and walk-in shower. Indulge in a long soak in the spa bath with bath salts & oils provided. Toilet is separate so no one will disturb you during your extended soak. Admire the beauty of Mt Ida from the hot & cold 'his' & 'her' outdoor showers. A sheer bliss under the morning sun.

Firewood & kindling are complimentary for two days. High chair & porta cot can be arranged for couples travelling with an infant. Three cars can fit in the carport. You can keep cool with A/C in summer.

Mia Mia Vistas is located in Mia Mia, a picturesque town in the heart of Heathcote wine region famous for its world class earthy Shiraz and other flourishing varieties. The region has over 40 wineries with friendly cellar doors many of which are a short drive from the house. The town of Mia Mia is proud to have a winery called Mia Valley Estate owned by a winemaker well regarded in the region.

Situated between Heathcote, Lancefield, Redesdale and Kyneton town of Mia Mia is perfectly positioned for gourmet travellers to explore this tasty region. The house is a short drive to Redesdale country pub, Mia Valley Estate & other wineries such as Condie Estate & Burke & Wills Winery. As you head in the direction of Heathcote High Street, which is 7 kms away, you will find a large and well stocked Champions IGA with impressive deli, bakery, fresh sushi bar, fruit & veg sections along with a liquor department with plenty of Heathcote wines to choose from. The High Street is characterised by historic shopfronts, country pubs, famous bakeries, local homeware stores, modest gold-era homes and more wineries.

Mia Mia is steeped in history for being the home of John Duigan who built and flew the first Australian made aeroplane in 1910 on the property on Spring Plains in Mia Mia. Also the famous Australian explorers Burke & Wills expedition passed through Mia Mia in 1860 on their journey across Australia. The road from Lancefield to Mia Mia is now called ‘The Burke & Wills Track’. The Track will lead you to our neighbouring outstanding wineries such as Burke & Wills Winery, Granite Hills, Glenhope & Rowaston On The Track.

Throughout the year, find fabulous food & wine festivals and events offering the perfect chance to meet our down to earth winemakers, taste the great local produce and see why Heathcote region is one of the best, and most beautiful, places in the world!

Our neighbours are far and few between. They tend to either run live stock over large acreage or grow grapes. Their livelihood, our divine undulating hills in Mia Mia surrounded by nearly every mountain you can find in the Heathcote region give our property the envious vistas we hope you will enjoy during your stay.

My husband and I are not new to AirBnB and we love using this site during our own travels. We will never let grass grow under our feet and travelling is one of our passions. We enjoy discovering new places in particular wine regions, trying new and exotic foods, visiting laid-back spots with good music, theatre and sightseeing.

As guests we know how to enjoy ourselves and also be clean and courteous! We hope to find like minded guests who will treat the house as their second home and grow to love our wonderful Heathcote Wine Region, most down to earth winemakers, tasty country pies, tall tails over long lunches & all the food & wine festivals it has to offer throughout the year, just like we do.
