Villa Castanea is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to holiday, celebrate a special occasion or hold a reunion with friends. In 2021 Villa Castanea once again provided a 5 star and personalised experience to over 60 bookings.

Villa Castanea offers a rustic Spanish feel which is coupled with modern furnishings and amenities to boot. The Villa garden offers seclusion and tranquility through a beautiful contemporary private pool with a BRAND NEW large patio area! There are numerous terraced areas that offer shade during the hottest parts of the day.

Villa Castanea has also increased its capacity to 14 guests opening a brand new lush 5th bedroom! Check out the photos on bedroom 5.

Guests can enjoy two different types of BBQ with a brand new gas BBQ being the highlight. Other modern conveniences include a plasma TV with access to Netflix, Amazon prime as well Spanish TV channels. Guests can enjoy a large selection of DVDs when looking to relax after a day in the sun.

The downstairs lounge and kitchen area is fully air conditioned keeping the largest area of the villa both cool in the summer and warm during the winter months. In addition both upstairs bedrooms have brand new AC units and each bedroom also has portable fans. However when staying during Autumn and winter months the Villa is also equipped with gas and electric heaters as well as on open fire place for those cooler winter nights. Wood and kindling can be requested and delivered.

Villa Castanea offers a wide range of sun-loungers and outside seating both around the pool as well as in other tranquil spots around the rustic garden. Additionally, guests can also benefit from a selection of beach equipment and inflatables - if trips to the large selection of stunning beaches is what you desire.

For larger groups an additional fridge and fridge freezer can be requested in order to keep those drinks ice cold!

Each guest is also provided with a beach towel.

The location and privacy of Villa Castanea is the perfect option for guests who want to gather friends and family members together to celebrate special occasions. During 2020, Villa Castanea hosted several larger events for Spanish Families with great success.

Options for larger parties can be made on request.

Further afield, Villa Castanea is not too far away from the night-life, shops and restaurants of Sucina (10 minutes) or the beaches of the Mar Menor, Lo Pagan and Los Alcazares, restaurants and bars of San Pedro del Pinatar (25 mins), La Zenia (30 mins) if you feel the need for hustle and bustle.

Everything you need for adventure and relaxation lies within a short distance of Villa Castanea. The local town of Sucina (10 minute drive) offers a good selection of tapas bars and restaurants which are situated in a beautiful square overlooking a rustic Spanish church. In the summer evenings the town provides a free music festival every weekend which is a real highlight. Sucina also provides guests with an excellent supermarket, bank, pharmacy, bakery and petrol station.

Villa Castanea is also blessed with the close by award winning golf resorts: Hacienda Riquelme Golf and Club and de Golf La Peraleja. Hacienda Riquelme also offers family friendly restaurants within the resort itself.

Villa Castanea is 25km from the sea, with a direct road to the coast taking only 20 minutes by car. The stunning beaches of both the Mar Menor at Lo Pagan and Los Alcazares are perfect for family trips as well as the health enthusiasts that want to experience the famous mud baths and Spa. Bikes can also be hired for more active guests or choose to relax in one of the many tapas bars and enjoy a Menu Del Dia on the sea front.

The region of Murcia is famous for its sport, particularly hiking, Golf and cycling. The national cycling team of Spain train in this area, using the mountainous terrain and contrasting flat plains to add challenges to their training regime. Villa Castanea is a perfect option of groups of cycling enthusiasts.

Murcia is also world famous for its Golf. There are 22 award winning golf courses located in the region. If you want to place yourself at the heart of the Golfing world, then book at Villa Castanea and you have choice of where to play.

All guests will be shown around the villa and have an opportunity to ask questions relating to their stay.

Guests arriving out of hours will have access to the key safe and have the opportunity for a meet and greet the following morning / later on during the day.
