WE ARE OPEN! Relax and unwind among a cool canopy of trees in this retro, renovated vintage Coleman pop-up camper. It sleeps about 3-4 and is complete with air conditioning, heating, coffee machine, hot plates, dishes and cookware and a seamless custom #Parallaxfloor resin art-design by our Resident artist, Math Powerland.

Indawo
Aromatic orange blossom scent hangs in the air during the spring months, and winters are sunny and crisp. Cows and horses are your neighbors and you'll probably see plenty of butterflies and rabbits and birds of all kinds here at The PowerLand.

You are safely tucked away in the wild, tropical countryside @FlatLandCenter, a growing "campLOUNGE" Art-Agro-Farm born of creative ethics for the traveling earth dweller.

You really are in the middle of nowhere (and everywhere). World-famous theme Parks, cool local parks, beautiful beaches, all within a short drive of your campsite.

“Glamp” in a yurt tent, Book the Vintage pop-up camper or come pitch a tent at one of the only places left where you can REALLY see the stars...

We are more central than Central Florida! Minutes to highways 95 ,50, 408, 417, 520, 528 and i4.

Ukungena kwesivakashi
You will have access to your pop-up camper, a fire-pit, the outdoor shower (which might be shared so please be mindful) , a “larimar” style resin and log table for picnics and enjoy the growing art by the pond. We even encourage you to bring a machete or trimmers and carve paths!! It’s a jungle out there ;) We just ask that you please stay on that side of the fence, the property with the lime green cottage is off limits.

Ezinye izinto okumele ziqashelwe
I can’t remember if I told you, Keep the fan forced heater on medium high heat. Looks like a half moon setting. It will run very toasty all night and never trip. Heaters are dead shorts so if it’s full max it could trip. Half moon setting is super warm.
We built you a rustic outdoor shower and toilette with “sawdust flush”. Please cover business COMPLETELY with the dust even if u go # 1, that includes toilet paper. It should take about 1-3 scoops of the sawdust in orange bucket. If it looks like just another bucket of sawdust with no visible material showing, you are doing it right. Keep covering until any smells or material disappear. We change it daily.

Don’t stay in a cramped, musty old hotel.!

The numerous trees filter the air and create a much healthier environment to enjoy while traveling. ALL our surfaces on site are disinfected with medical grade Disinfectant prior to and following your visit! Locals must message us with their purpose for stay in the area when booking. This listing is only available to the amount of people booked through Airbnb. No parties. There is a daily “unauthorized late checkout” fee of $50 for each guest who refuses to checkout after designated, scheduled time.
When booking, you agree to release the owners of property or hosts of any and all liability. Soak all areas around firepit before burning and always keep hose nearby. Wildlife, bugs, reptiles etc are native to Florida. Camp at your own risk.
Please Note : The water is natural sulfur, fluoride-free water from a well. Yes it does smell like sulfur and it’s Amazing for the skin, but do not drink.

Christmas, Florida, i-United States

The neighborhood is camp territory, right down the street from Tosohatchee Wildlife Management Area where guests can see the largest stand of cypress forest still left uncut in the state of Florida. Over 900 acres of virgin cypress trees can be found growing along Jim Creek with the oldest slash pines, some nearly 250 years old. Recreational activities include hiking, bird watching, fishing, horseback riding and limited hunting.

Within a very short drive from your campsite is Fort Christmas Historical Park and Museum. Visit the full size replica of Fort Christmas. Seven restored historical homes interpreted to show pioneer life from the 1870s through the 1930s. Key themes are homesteading, cattle, citrus, hunting, sugarcane production, weaving and more. The Park has three picnic pavilions two of which seat 100 people and one which seats 50 people. Each pavilion has a large barbeque grill, electrical outlets and water hose. For pavilion rental please call. There is a playground with swings, slide, a "fort" jungle gym, and areas for small children. There is a basketball court, tennis court and red clay baseball/kickball field.
