BYO swag or bedding, and no electricity. However, there is a chemical toilet, a gas burner, cold rain water and plenty of green space and views! Also solar lights.
There are steep steps up to the sleeping area, which may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues. However the couch downstairs does fold out to a bed.

Living up here in Eungella had always been a dream of mine. As a friend in Eungella once commented: "Eungella is when you die and go to heaven!" How true this is. I love my animals and my garden and I don't ask much more of life. I have peacocks and Guinea fowl and many other birds all of which have their individual personalities and can be hand fed. I am always excited when I have been away and to return here is just wonderful. My partner, Myles is experienced at identifying bird species and is always available. He has been a tour guide for the local resort for more than a decade.
Eungella is wonderful place to visit and our 700 metre altitude means that it is often five to seven degrees cooler than the coast.
Therefore I often recommend bringing suitable layers of clothing, a pair of indoor shoes for the times it may be cold or muddy.
Eungella is an absolute delight to visit for the bird life, the glorious climate, the beautiful forest to stroll through.
I have a great love of nature so my garden tends to be overgrown! I love my animals and there are many on the property; peacocks and guinea fowl are just some of my favourites, all guarded by my beloved Maremma, Snowball. I also have four cats who grace my home with their zany antics. There are also two Welsh Mountain ponies wandering about the paddock. They love to come up to the fence for a slice of bread and will hang about hoping for a bit more. Our animals form a major part of our lives together and provide endless entertainment and form the basis of many a conversation.
