Need to get away from it all? I have the place for you! Mt Shasta High Desert Views Retreat & Sanctuary is located in Juniper Valley on 20.30 acres. You get it all, Panoramic Views, Hiking Trails, Hot Tub, Prepared Wood Fire Pit, Waterfall, BBQ, Horse Shoe Pits and your own Private Master Suite, with a separate entrance. Once parked, a brick walkway will lead you to a private screened in porch and then to a keyed entry to your suite!

Indawo
This is an owner-occupied home, although our portion of the house and the entrance is separate from your guest quarters and your entrance. Since we are on site, we are available to assist you with whatever you might need during your stay and still respect your privacy.

There is a view of Mt Shasta from your room, porch and spa, along with panoramic views from everywhere on the property. Enjoy sitting by the fire at night and enjoying the peaceful sounds of nothing but the crackling fire and the waterfall.

Because this house is a place to get away from it all, you will not find Wifi here, or a smart Meter. The water is Pure Fresh Mt Shasta water, straight from mountain. Yes that means, no flouride.

But don't worry, Your cell phone will work out here.

Your room includes a 60 inch TV, Dish TV, a DVD Player with Surround Sound and, plenty of movies to choose from.
There is a king bed with night stands, a closet and dresser for your clothes.

On your private screened in porch, you can just relax and enjoy the views and nature and./or play your favorite music from your cell phone as the screened-in porched is equipped with speakers too.

In the Bathroom, there is a step in tub with a shower and a "aqua dance" shower head. There is soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion.. (and basically everything you will need if you forget something),along with towels and beach towels (for the spa)

In the Kitchenette there is a Keurig Coffee maker, and Hot water Pot, Toaster Oven, Regular Toaster, large slow cooker crock pot, Induction cook top, Refrigerator and a Pure Shasta Water Dispenser.
The Kitchenette has condiments, Salt, Pepper etc, Seasonal Fresh Fruit, Coffee Pods, Various Teas, Creamers, Sugar, English Muffins, butter, jam and misc daytime snacks.

My Neighborhood is Weed, California. My home is on the outskirts of Weed, approximately 3,000 feet elevation, and about 10 miles from the town of Weed itself. I am approximately 16 miles to the town of Mt Shasta City and 21 miles from the town of Yreka. There is so much to see, such as the sweet town of Mt Shasta, drive up and hike Mt Shasta or visit Lake Siskiyou, fill up your water bottles at the Headwaters of the Sacramento River in Mt Shasta, In Dunsmuir there is a nice short hike down to Hedge Falls or a little further down Highway 89 in McCloud is fantastic Fowler Falls.
The Oregon Border is only 45 minutes North away as well.
Good Idea to bring hiking shoes not only for this property but for other trails. I do have walking sticks.

We both fell in love with our place in Weed at the foot the Mt Shasta Mountain. For the most part it is still untouched and abounds with Deer, Chipmunks, Quail, Coyotes, Kangaroo Rats and Rabbits to name a few.
