El Transito is a small fishing village that is not commercialized and it has been a hidden vacation spot for Nicaraguans. A safe village surrounded by a mix of vacation homes and local residences. A must go place for the surfing enthusiast and a quiet getaway from the regular tourist spot. In 2016, we opened the first restaurant in El Transito. It is a beachfront restaurant with perfect views of the best surfing spot on the ocean.

I am a native Nicaraguan who loves to host and welcome people to one of the most beautiful and down-to-earth countries in Central America. I love cooking and entertaining at my beachfront restaurant, Olas Clandestinas, located in El Transito. I also keep bees which help the environment and allows me to sell the best wild honey in Nicaragua. (Eat Drink Surf @ El Transito)
