"One on the Creek" is a charming, renovated two-story century home, retaining it's old-timey character. Tucked into the quiet end of a dead-end street, secluded deck, patio and backyard fire-pit overlooking the picturesque woods and water. Waterfront on beautiful, stocked Tidioute Creek, just upstream from where it flows into the Allegheny River.

Central to so many outdoor activities, it would take pages to describe everything you could do while staying at "One on the Creek." See more in info.

Indawo
You will see in the photos, this is a turn back the clock destination. Note the lack of flat screen tv's, get away from the wifi and recharge by playing board games, reading, being outdoors, dining, campfiring, etc.. The look and feel is for that outdoorsy, adventury, unplugged, recharge type weekend.

Ukungena kwesivakashi
Guests will have access to the whole house, private back deck and yard. No one else will have access during your stay.

Ezinye izinto okumele ziqashelwe
Restaurant options are limited, I will email you everything you might want to know about dining in the area, but plan on bringing most of your groceries with you. Tidioute is a small town with limited selection. If you do forget, no big deal Titusville has a Giant Eagle and Walmart, about 20 miles away and Warren, PA has plenty of grocery and dining, about 40-45 minutes away.

Tidioute, Pennsylvania, i-United States

Come for the outdoors, mountains, river, creeks, trails, forests... just don't come for the bustling town-life, you'll be disappointed. I find the town charming and there are many beautiful Victorians and meticulously maintained residences and weekend getaways surrounding "One on the Creek." Like any remote mountain town, there are a few places that need some upkeep mixed in, but the town is extremely safe and quiet.

You can walk to (the only) restaurant that serves breakfast, the Landmark Hotel (famous for their fish dinner), Hotel Tidioute (a bar featured on American Pickers) or roam around looking for Bigfoot, but plan on driving to Titusville or Warren for that true city dining/shopping feel.

There is also a nice library and great playground in walking distance and a picnic area at the boat ramp (just a short paddle or walk downstream).

See the more information section for all sorts of fun facts about the neighborhood and things to do nearby.

Phakathi nokuhlala kwakho
I'm not always in town. When I am, my weekend retreat is a mile away. I am always a phone call away and have a property manager minutes away.

Please understand, this is a recreational property in an area with spotty-at-best cell coverage. There are things that may affect your ability to get ahold of me like, well, cloud cover, the fact that I am often mountain biking, hiking, fishing, etc. out of cell service.

I make every effort to be available and check in with you at least once, but do warn that doesn't mean guaranteed instant access, it's just the nature of the remote area.

I do provide backup contacts familiar with the property at check in that can answer 99% of questions and concerns.
