The Birdsong Home is located on the slopes of Mirik town in the Darjeeling district. Enjoy spectacular views from this luxuriously furnished, peaceful retreat - ideal for nature lovers and hill walkers. Facilities include free Wifi, BBQ area, food.

The Birdsong Home overlooks a mountain range where you can see the lights of Kerseong glittering at night from the outdoor terrace. The house overlooks the terraced garden, planted with organic vegetables, orange trees and flowering plants. Enjoy a 180 degree view of the mountain range from your very own private home.

This independent flat has three bedrooms, and a TV area with a sofabed. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and looks out over to the garden. The open plan living room, kitchen and TV area is connected to another bathroom.

The house is rather isolated, and surrounded by only two to three other houses. This makes it especially serene. A dense forest is just a 2-min walk away. Mirik lake is a 2km uphill walk. The lake has boating and horse riding options for children.

The television area is set up with a flatscreen TV with HD Tata Sky, and a bluetooth music player.

The kitchen is set up with a mixer-grinder, gas stove, fridge, water filter, kettle and utensils.

Our outdoor restaurant is open from 8 am to 8pm daily. The momos are a local favorite!

At the Ballygunge house, you can expect a self-serviced, clean apartment where you can use all amenities but must clean up after yourselves. At the city centre villa, you will get all the luxurious services you would expect from a hotel - from laundry to hot, fresh meals (vegetarian) and breakfast with a bowl of fresh cut fruit. The Birdsong Home is a private getaway in Himalyan mountains, with serviced apartments in a remote, gorgeous location.
