The I-Casa is located smack dab in the middle of the Beautiful Northern Black Hills of South Dakota. Enjoy the peace and quiet of nature in our truly unique geodesic glamping getaway.

We provide all the essentials for a top-of-the-line Glamping experience.

In our attempt to make a more sustainable and eco-friendly living environment. Our bathroom has a totally self-contained odorless Natures Head compost toilet.

The I-Casa is a geodesic dome, a glamping get away, a tiny house and a little cabin, all wrapped into one!

Wow that’s a mouthful but it’s actually quite true.

We built and designed the structure with the idea of being Space Efficient/Energy Efficient/Eco-friendly.

But that being said, we wanted it to stand out for its unique design and be super cozy so it feels at home. So the I-Casa is what we came up with, and we love it!

The I-Casa has a vaulted loft bedroom with a sturdy railing that looks right out a big pentagon window into the Beautiful Black Hills that surround the property.

There is a full bed with side tables and a clothes rack with a couple drawers underneath it for storage.

Our small but efficient kitchenette consists of all the essentials of a great Glamping experience.
We provide: plates, pots, silverware and cooking utensils.
The cooking utilities include: a microwave a toaster oven, coffee machine and dual hot plates for cooking.

The kitchenette also doubles as the washing station with a medicine cabinet and all the basics inside, including a first aid kit.

Our very cute and cozy living room has a very comfortable loveseat with vinyl wood floors and a 40 inch TV we recently equipped with a little backpacker guitar for those Musician type peoples out there.

It’s an absolutely wonderful place to unwind after a beautiful day of hiking through the hills or touring all the beautiful sites that surround us.

The bathroom has a custom made corrugated steel shower with a on demand hot water heater and a top of the line completely odorless Natures Head compost toilet.

*FYI because we do have a limited hot water heater you’ll have access to a hot water shower with a time frame of 5 to 7 minutes of hot water.
Most people have no Issue with this but you do have to be efficient and to the point.

* Our Nature’s Head odorless compost toilet is completely water free.
It is easy to use and like I said before completely odorless. We think you’ll be impressed.

I really can’t say enough about the porch. It has some of the best views on the property. There is a grill for cooking and a table for hanging out and eating. It truly is one of my favorite places to be when I’m back.
The I-Casa is/was a love project for us and we truly hope you love it as as much as we do!!

I was born and raised in Spearfish South Dakota, right next to the place you’re staying!

There are four geodesic dome‘s on the property.
The one you’re staying in, is below the studio dome. The little one next to you is the family room dome and the big one right next you is our residence.
This Airbnb has been a wonderful project and eye-opening reawakening look at the place that I call home!
I’m a traveling musician, so I’m on the road quite a bit. And with that being said, I have been in and out of many Airbnb‘s in hotels and what knots throughout the years....
I’m trying to make “The Turtle House” as cool and easy an experience and place to stay for travelers/ campers/family getaway/hikers/mountain bikers/motorcycle travelers.... and yes even musician’s;)
I truly hope you find my space as wonderful and comfy a place as I do, it was built with love.
