I’m a local Realtor, born and raised in Williston. I love our community and especially the downtown area. The recent oil boom has brought many great opportunities for people and many new things to Williston.... great new restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops and the wonderful ARC, which is located to the north of the college. I've traveled to many different countries, but have found that ND sunsets are the best in the world! We also have one of the most beautiful lakes I've ever seen in Lake Sakakawea, which is located 22 miles east on HWY 1804. When you're there, stop by Lund's Landing to enjoy some pan fried walleye and a piece of Juneberry pie, so yummy! If you like to hike, drive north, past Watford City, to the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. You will be amazed at how beautiful western ND truly is! If you want to stay downtown, my favorite sushi I've ever had is found at The Basil. Try the firecracker roll and the Vietnamese coffee, you will not be disappointed :). Enjoy your stay and please don't hesitate to reach out and ask for recommendations. I love our community and want you to have the best experience ever!
