Our tiny house is nestled in the lush rain forest of alders, maples & cedars that we call Millie's Gulch. Wake up to views of green trees from every window. Walk the trails down to a babbling brook meandering through the gulch. Sip your morning coffee as birds, deer & frogs play around you. You might be lucky & sneak a glimpse of Tiny Tim our Barred Owl. Grill a steak on the BBQ, light a fire in the pit to keep cozy & warm on a chill evening as the stars peak out from behind the forest canopy.

Indawo
A tiny house with kitchen, bathroom and sleeping loft designed in a modern cabin style. The space is decorated with soft, neutral fabrics accented with splashes of red and handcrafted wood all set in the lush green surroundings of the forest.

A queen-size memory foam mattress in the spacious sleeping loft guarantees a good night's sleep. The reading loft doubles as a single bunk for sleeping as does the pull-out couch in the living area. Please note this is a small sofa (to fit into the space!) and is great as an extra child's bed. The bunk has a ladder to climb so recommended for teenagers and sprightly adults.

The bathroom has a spacious shower with an on-demand hot water heater.
An Incinolet toilet.
Cooking is a two burner propane gas stove and a microwave.
There's a vintage-style fridge/freezer.
A Nespresso coffee machine, French press and whistling tea kettle.
Coffee & tea, hot chocolate & creamers.
Olive oil and Balsamic vinegar, salt/pepper grinders.
The Mason jars hold sugar, rice, pasta, dried beans, loose coffee and almonds.
A Brita water filter is in the fridge - however our well water has been tested as suitable for drinking.
There are two dog bowls for food and water and a towel for wet/muddy paws.

On the large deck, there's a charcoal Weber BBQ and a fire pit for cozy evenings melting s'mores.
In chilly weather bring Wellies and layers for hiking the trails and warm slippers/socks to wear inside.

Please note that the tiny house stairs and the two outside decks have no hand rails or bannisters. Please go very carefully as you tread.

Port Ludlow, Washington, i-United States

We are about 30 minutes from the Kingston/Edmonds Ferry nestled in the forest alongside the Hood Canal on the Olympic Peninsula close to Port Townsend, Port Angeles, Chimacum, the Olympic Mountains and National Park. We are ten minutes from Historic Port Gamble, host to weddings and classic car events. Poulsbo and Bainbridge are a little further - but both worth a visit for the scenic drive and waterfront eateries and breweries - and we are 30 minutes from the world famous Lavender Festival which happens once a year in Sequim.

Moved on to this idyllic wooded property during lockdown and have been clearing ferns and trees and making a home in the forest ever since. I write and make films and have two adorable brindle pugs who love to climb tree stumps and fallen logs. Loving our life adapting to the forest with its wild creatures, all its sounds and seasons and hope you will too.

We live on the next property. You will see our lights through the trees and may sometimes hear a pug bark or see us walking with Willie and Millie on the trails. We are close enough to assist or answer questions but far enough to give you privacy and of course available by phone or text any time you need us.
