Our kitchenette is perfect for entertaining with a ready supply of kitchen gadgets, cookware, utensils, serving vessels, and supplies (a variety of spices, oils, coffee, condiments, etc.) You have dining and lounging space, including a table for two in the kitchen, a couch and coffee table in the bedroom, and plenty or poolside dining options just outside your door! You will have a coffee maker (with unlimited coffee/tea), a compact freezer/refrigerator, stove-top, toaster oven, microwave, and blender.

WAIT, THERE'S MORE?

Yes! Your condo unit also had exceptionally fast, free and private WIFI (150 MB), a brand new superpowered AC unit, a Smart TV in the living room/bedroom area, free parking right outside the house, EASY keyless access to the building and your unit, on-site laundry with fully stocked supplies like detergent, bleach, etc., a secluded mermaid pool (shared with three other units), and a VERY detailed Welcome Guide that will tell you everything you need to eat, see and do!

SLEEP LIKE A KING

Sleep is important. And we are well-versed in the science of sleep so we’ve thought of everything to ensure a good night’s rest. Your bedroom features a top-of-the-line memory foam mattress, a variety of comfortable pillows, hotel quality soft sheets, AC, a sound machine (select white noise, rain, ocean, or other sounds to lull you to sleep), and earplugs to drown out your partner’s snores. :)

This unit is on the first floor, which is the same level as the pool, which is shared with guests in the other three units, but never busy. You will walk down three flights of stairs from the entrance to get to the first floor. You have wonderful pool views from your room but lots of privacy with blackout AND privacy curtains. When you step outside to the pool by to soak, relax, or work (yes, Internet works at the pool!), you have beautiful ocean views!

+ Around the corner from the kitchen is a private entrance to your king en suite bedroom, with a cozy living room and Smart TV. It's the perfect area for conversation or to enjoy the pool views outside the sliding glass doors.
+ Large walk-in closet with plenty of space to hang clothes and store your suitcases.
+ Best access to the shared pool area, which has a propane grill, two relaxing hanging chairs, two reclining chairs to sun yourself, a table for four, and lots of space to float and relax in the pool. The pool has quiet hours from 10 pm-9 am and is shared with the three other units.
+ One large bathroom accessed from the main room with a shower.

BEST VIEWS IN TOWN

We often hear “the photos don’t do it justice.” Well, they have a good point. We invite you to get lost in the sunsets, which sometimes last for hours. Enjoy the personal fireworks show that explodes into the night sky over the pirate ship on the water...every. single. night. Keep an eye out for whales (in season), and paragliders, and cruise ships, (oh my!) It's an ever-changing landscape with each passing minute. And it's all yours.

P.S. We have three additional units in this building. If you have a large party, we give discounts if you book more than one room! We can fit 16 people total in beds!

We are located in the North part of town just 7 blocks uphill from the beach and a 15-minute walk from the Malecon (about 11 blocks). We are just north of Old Town & the Romantic District and about a 20-minute drive from the airport. Unlike Old Town, which has a much more developed feel, 5 de Diciembre has retained much of the original charm and authenticity of Puerto Vallarta, with sweet little coffee shops, delicious local restaurants (some of the best in PV), bars, and shopping lining every tree-lined cobblestone street! Its proximity to the action on the Malecon and easy access to Old Town makes it one of the most popular areas in town. The neighborhood is friendly and safe and the locals are welcoming. Nights are quiet and you can easily find the action and then come home for a good night's rest to wake up refreshed and ready for the coming day!

Have we talked about the views? The privileged placement of this neighborhood lends it to some of the best views in the entire city, not to mention tons of conveniences, including a great grocery store (Ley) and one of the best vegetable and seafood markets in the city (more info in our Welcome Guide!)

Hello! My name is Krista and I live in the United States with my husband and our two little boys, who are one and three. I was an early user of Airbnb and listed my first property (which was the house I lived in) in 2012. I rented that property out for seven years until I met my husband, Jeff, and then we rented our properties out together to pay for weekend getaways!

Fast forward to today --- one marriage and two kids later, Jeff and I have hosted thousands of guests in a handful of properties and have stayed at many Airbnb’s all over the world. We are both Superhosts and have even launched a Udemy course on how to be a terrific Airbnb host!

If there is one website that has truly changed my life, it is Airbnb.

Now we own properties in some of the places we love the most, including Denver, Colorado --- Steamboat Springs, Colorado --- and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
