Nestled in the rainforest and hidden from street view, you will discover the home sanctuary, Villa Vihara. Greeted by a pristine creek, you will be awestruck by the magnificence of the rainforest garden. The guest accommodation is upstairs, across a 319m2 expanse. Entry is into the large open plan kitchen, dining and lounge room, which is labelled as having the Wow Factor!
The bedroom suites are at opposite ends of the house, each with its own private balcony. The spacious bedrooms are gorgeous with plenty of cupboard space and storage if you’re considering an extended stay. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with his and hers basins and a novel bath arrangement. A lovely second bathroom is also available.
The chef’s kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances including a gas cooktop, electric oven and dishwasher. Preparing amazing fresh, local produce will be a delight overlooking the large entertaining deck. A convenient servery is provided and outdoor dining furniture. A gas barbecue unit is also ready for use.
The home is air conditioned, with ceiling fans throughout and external screen doors. WIFI and Netflix are available and there is a dedicated laptop work station if you still need to attend that zoom meeting.
There is also a discreet laundry hub with washing machine and clothes drier included.
The creek flows year round and you can even take a refreshing dip in the little swimming hole. If you prefer a little more sophistication, the secluded outdoor spa bath and shower, with its own private outdoor setting, is perfect to enjoy the beautiful surrounds.
With your ultimate relaxation in mind, we hope the only decision you’ll have to make, is deciding which deck to lounge on!

Situated on the Cassowary Coast, famed for its flora and fauna, Villa Vihara is in Innisfail, just 90 minutes south of Cairns Airport. Jubilee Heights is only a 7 minute drive from the town centre, through banana and sugar cane plantations, and past green pastures where cows and kangaroos mingle. Located in a wildlife corridor, you are also likely to encounter cassowaries, wallabies, goannas, a variety of bird species, butterflies and the resident water dragon.

Following a 30 year career, I had a deep desire to do life differently and that is how we discovered our tree change. With our own family somewhat downsized now, we have more than enough space. AirBnb has given us the opportunity to share our green paradise. It is truly wonderful to facilitate new special memories and an unforgettable experience for our guests.
