Enjoy all the Connecticut River Valley has to offer and use this newly renovated cottage as your relaxing home base. The cottage is a 2 min. drive (or 12 min. walk) to charming downtown Chester. There you will find delicious dining options, unique shops, galleries, a brewery and a theater. Chester is also home to a wonderful Sunday farmers market -mid June to mid October. Area attractions include Gillette Castle, Essex Steam Train, Florence Griswold Museum, CT River Museum and wonderful hiking.

This lovely two story cottage has a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen on the first floor.
The second level has skylights, an open beamed ceiling and large picture windows. It contains a living area, dining area, dedicated workspace, and a full size daybed - which is a great spot to relax for an afternoon read or can accommodate an extra guest or two.
The cottage has distant views of the Connecticut River, private outdoor space with 2 Adirondack chairs, a side table and a gas BBQ grill.

My husband Charles and I grew up in New Jersey. We spent a large part of our life together living in NYC, spending our summers at the Jersey shore.
After selling our much loved house at the beach in 2016 the search began for a new home. We were lucky enough to find that home in Chester, located in the Connecticut River Valley.
The river valley has so much to offer. Beaches on the Long Island Sound, boating on the Connecticut River, and many wonderful hiking trails for walking in the woods. It was the perfect place for us.
Although the property needed some TLC we have been enjoying the process of revitalizing it.
Now that the renovations on the cottage have been completed we are excited to share it with our guests. We know they will find Chester and the Connecticut River Valley as charming as we do.
