A spacious, comfy attic room with shared bathroom facilities in a friendly family home in a quiet green area of Leiden. Only 12 mins by bus or bike to the city center and station. Close to local shops, scenic cycle paths and pretty walks.

Many of our guests comment how quiet the room is and how comfy the beds are. Perfect for a nice restful stay!

Please note: The bathroom is shared with our family (rarely an issue).

A spacious attic room on the second floor with 2 single beds.
This is the only bedroom on this floor and is quiet and private with a lockable door.

In the room are a sofa, 2 chests of drawers, a cupboard, a dining table, and chairs. Personal coffee machine, microwave oven, Bread toaster and a kettle in the room. Coffee, tea, sugar and milk are provided free of charger.

There is satellite TV in the room showing UK channels in English. DVDs can also be played and you can borrow films from our library - just ask.

We live in the Merenwijk, a lovely green and quiet suburb of Leiden. In the middle is a children's farm and wood and next to that (5 minutes walk from us) is a small shopping centre with 3 supermarkets, bakery, drug stores, etc.

2 minutes walk away is a beautiful green area for a stroll with a lake and river. The Merenwijk is a great place to relax in nature.

There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance, otherwise in the city centre there are hundreds of eateries and bars.
