Come stay in our private suite on the lower level of our home! We have a great location only 9 minutes drive to UNC and easy access to I-40 gets you to RDU and the airport easily. We provide high speed internet with ethernet hookup and mesh wifi with a dedicated workstation. Large flatscreen TV includes Netflix, Amazon Video and Disney+ and our personal digital movie library on Movies Anywhere and Vudu. Fully stocked Keurig station with coffee, tea and the morning basics!

Parking is provided on the street. From here you take a pathway to the back of the house where there is a private patio and entrance. We use a key code lock for guest convenience. Once you enter you will find the kitchenette and bathroom on the left and the studio suite on the right.

The kitchenette includes a sink, mini-fridge with freezer, toaster oven (with pizza drawer), microwave and washer & dryer. Also, we have a Keurig fully stocked with a variety of coffee k-cups, teas, creamer, sugars and hot chocolate.

The suite contains a king size bed (memory foam). If you have more than two people then you will find the comfy sofa pulls out into a queen bed. Two pack and plays are provided if little ones need it. A twin airbed can also be provided in case guests need the additional sleeping space. The open floor space does provide for all of this, however, it will start to feel a bit tight in this studio once all the beds are in use. We provide fresh clean linens, towels, blankets, and pillows.

There is a large flat screen tv mounted above the fireplace. We do not have cable but do offer over the air HD channels and access to the Roku which provides Netflix, Amazon Prime videos, and probably our favorite Movies Anywhere which has all of our digital movies (lots of Disney and a mish mash of other movies).

The space is cleaned thoroughly between visitors which is why we charge an extra cleaning fee. We have been Airbnb guests ourselves and understand what it means to have a comfortable clean space to come back to as your home away from home!

We live in one of the older neighborhoods in Chapel Hill which gives us a big advantage for location! It is the reason we chose this home for ourselves and really believe our guests will also love the convenience as much as we do!

I am a mom of two young children who keep me quite busy! Outside of the usual momming, I work as a Software Engineer in the Life Sciences at Model N. In those rare moments of free time I love to sew, travel (yay Airbnb!), catch up on favorite sci-fi and fantasy tv or movies, or enjoy one of those amazing meals at the area restaurants. My husband and I are big foodies!

As a guest and host we do love to chat but often our touring plans or day to day life keep this pretty limited! If we see you around, we may say hi! But otherwise you might not see us a whole lot as we keep life pretty busy :) .

We have a pretty hectic schedule at times and are often not home due to work or other family activities. However, we are always available to answer questions, resolve any issues, and if time allows we would love to come say hi and ensure everything is as you expect. Our children are always up for playing outside if there are other children around. Outside of this, we like to give guests their space and have set up the suite to provide privacy and comfort.
