Local Restaurants and Breweries

Great local restaurants and a brewery very close to the house. You will find plenty to eat and drink. The Lobster Shack is moving and will be open in June, 2019.
You can walk just a couple of blocks to the Sandpiper Restaurant. The lobster rolls are great, but you can't miss on any of the seafood options. Sit outside and enjoy the water views or sit inside in a beautifully designed and restaurant. https://www.sandpipereasthaven.com/

This brewery is amazing! Located on the water there is a terrific outdoor area to hang out and play games. The beer is also pretty amazing according to my husband. I usually order wine and it is good too. There are food trucks in the parking lot and you also have the option of bringing your own food. A quick Uber or Lyft ride will get you there and back safely. https://stonycreekbeer.com/

Arts & Culture

Fun for kids of all ages! The museum takes you back to a time when trolleys were the main type of transportation along the CT shoreline.
