Sightseeing
Bishop's Beach was the local access to Anchor Point from Homer, before the Sterling Highway connected the two communities. It is now a great place for picnics, walking your dog (generally an off-leash location; if your dog is too aggressive, keep him or her on leash, please), beach combing, or just enjoying the sound of wind and waves. Always be prepared for cooler temperatures, even in summer, to fully enjoy your stroll on the beach. Generally the water is too cold for swimming.
