A wonderful pub right by the River Dart which has sitting to enjoy watching the boats and canoes come upon the rising tide. Also nice tables with river views inside on a colder evening, best to book before hand.

Agatha Christie's summer home - now run any the National Trust. Glorious gardens and a fascinating house - was also used by the Americans during World War II and has a wonderful mural in the sitting room.

A beautiful bird reserve on the freshwater lake at the Ley. Take the board walk along the Ley towards the village. Watch out for peregrine falcons, and many water birds. The trail ends up in the pretty village of Slapton where you can take a pint at the Tower Inn.
