A few food landmarks:
McKellar confectionery, a family-owned restaurant famous for its Coney dogs, coney burgers, milkshakes and fries. Generations of families have traditionally grown up enjoying their secret recipe and old school feel. Also, Thunder Bay is famous for its Persians. Stop by a local bakery or Persian Man restaurant to try. one (if you can stop after just one). There are many excellent ethnic restaurants. My personal favorite is iMasala Grill (Court St North) for traditional Indian buffet and atmosphere. For more casual dining closer to your suite, the Fort William Curling Club serves amazing Chinese food.
