Here you have a small selection of some of my favorite restaurants in Porto!
They aren't the most fancy or the most exclusive restaurants, however are the ones I know you will find friendly people with good relation between quality and price.

The way you get around the historic center is always special. You can get there either near the entrance of the top slab of D. Luiz Bridge (at the left) or near the lower slab of the same bridge. Normally I do recommend to start on the top. :)

Atravessar a rua - Crossing the street
When it comes to crossing the street on foot don't try to imitate the locals. There is a habit of not following the rules, passing off the crosswalk or at the red light. It does not mean that it is allowed, or not dangerous. Driving a car in the city center is stressful and not easy, so I advise that wherever you cross the road you never get in front of a car, even on the crosswalks. Do not believe the car sees you and will stop.
