Parks & Nature
This famous surf spot has changed quite a bit since May 2018! It's miraculous that it's still there after lava came up to the edges of the park and even inundated a portion of the park. Pohoiki is now home to the newest beach on the island and it's spectacular to behold. It's definitely not an amateur swimming beach, but it's a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the black sand and rolling waves.
