Fun things to do
Ive attached the places I frequent the most and would recommend visiting for food and drink but I would also say theres a bunch of other things to do that is not food or drink.
Clissold Park is situated at the end of the road with its nice cafe and Deer park. Playgrounds, skate park and tennis courts all add to its fun.
It leads you to the reservoirs and West Reservoir Water Sports Centre where walks and runs in the reserve are excellent escapes for air and wildlife. A whole load of water based activities can be found here too. You also have The Castle climbing centre next door to the reservoir where people of all ages and abilities get together to climb indoors and out. If you wanted to walk another 10 minutes north west of there you have Finsbury Park and Emirates Stadium. Or a nother 5 minutes east and you can visit Abney Cemetary which has just recently received Lottery funding to restore this magical and enchanted green space within the city. London fields lido is a 30 minute walk or 15 minute bus ride away where oudoor heated swimming is available. Its situated close to Broadway market and the farmers market - a great way to spend a saturday. Columbia road is another 10 minute walk from London Fields and the place to be on a Sunday - a real slice of London culture. The canal isnt too far away either, probably a 15 minute walk south and you pick up the Regents Canal which can take you into Victoria Park and the Olympic village in 50 miutes if you head east or Kings Cross and Granary Square if you head west.
