What to eat in Mexico:
•Tacos: Arrachera, pastor, suadero, Cecina.
•Quesadillas: Hongos, Rajas, pollo.
•Alambre: Arrachera, pastor, vegetales, Cecina. ( Mix of meat, vegetables with cheese )
•Chilakiles: The famous Totopos bath with sauce, cream an cheese.
•Enchiladas Verdes o Rojas.(Corn tortilla filled with meat, folded and bath in sauce)
•Sopes, Tlacoyos( de Chicharron, chorizo, pollo, … )Like the corn tortilla but thicker with beans and meat or vegetales on top.
•Flautas. Corn tortilla fried and filled with chicken or potatoes.
•Mole de pollo. There are a wide variety of moles, that is a traditional mix of spices that includes cacao and hot spices. Better to eat on an good restaurant.
•Sopa Azteca
•Elotes y esquites (corn)
You can have all of this with seafood.
Be careful with the sauces since they are usually very hot spicy. Also be careful where you eat on the streets.
If you are a vegetarian ask for mushrooms and rajas.(pepper)
