Go to the beach – Amager style
Whether the sun's out and the sea is hot, or it's cold, Amager Beach Park is a beautiful piece of nature close to our apartment.
These are our 2 favourite spots for swimming. But don't forget – there's also kayaking, minigolf and lots of other stuff to do!
Helgoland Badeanstalt
Kastrup Søbad
301 Amager StrandvejGo catch a movie
Need a break from all the walking and sightseeing? Why don't you settle down with some popcorn and enjoy a movie? Denmark doesn't dub foreign movies (unless they are for kids), so you should be able to find something in your taste!
There are lots of movie theaters, but we recommend the following:
The Saturday morning matinée at 9.30 is cheap AND includes a cup of coffee with your ticket. Plus they have great croissants!

Go for the retail gold
There are a million nice clothes stores in Copenhagen – not to mention vintage shops. These are some of our personal favorites that generally avoid Strøget. However, there are some in that area as well!
A big, beautiful department store with all the big brands. Don't eat the food on the rooftop though – it's overpriced and not great quality.
