Our Favorite Restaurants
Our family favorites include:
Dinner: Garlic Mike's, The Bistro, High Alpine Brewery, Anejos Mexican, and Cafe Sylvestre (Mexican). The first three are more fine dining but ok for kids as well and often require a reservation in the busy months of summer. The Brewery has great brick oven pizza, salads and of course artisan beers.
In Crested Butte our favorites are Teocali Tamale, Ryce, and Donitas. There are many great restaurants in CB and we don't eat up there too much so these three are mainly good food, fast, consistent, and family friendly.
Garlic Mike's is a Gunnison locals favorite with lots of room for guests of all ages, a River bar with room to dine by the Gunnison river, and great Italian fare. Kids are welcome but make reservations in the summer and over holidays.

A local favorite for Mexican - not a lot of seating area but they seem to get great food out fast so it works out. Try the soups, posole, enchiladas - everything is good.

The only coffee roaster in Gunnison - gourmet coffee, kombucha, golden milk, great breakfast burritos, to go sandwiches. These guys don't do smoothies so head elsewhere for that. Best back deck in town - dubbed the Gunnison beach because it's the only warm place in the spring.
