Some Cardiff favorites
Closest beach access:
Walk downhill to the S Coast Highway 101 to the “Kook” statue (also known as “Magic Carpet Ride” on google maps,) and walk behind the statue. You’ll see some walkways through a chain link fence and an opening to the campground. Walk straight through there, past the bathrooms, and you’ll find steps down to the beach and some excellent waves!
