To Do

Dwight is absolutely a small town, but you'll find it abounds with small town charm!
The "Gold Cure" for Alcoholism put Dwight in the spotlight, and the Keely institute became famous for treating alcoholism as a whole body issue. Mr. Keeley focused on treating the conditions of the patient with all the 5 senses. His holistic approach is now used in treatment centers worldwide. This building is no longer opened to the public, but occasionally tours will allow visitors to view the amazing stained glass windows that represent the 5 senses.

The King of England once visited this area under the name of "Lord Renfrew" as not to draw attention to his hunting party. The area that was prairie land was turned in to a park to memorialize the King's trip. Renfrew park also has the iconic Rocket Ship. Climb up to the top and view the beauty of the park; catch a summertime baseball game, enjoy a picnic, or just enjoy the quiet calm of nature. The Dwight pool is just on the other side of the park. Cool off with a dip in the clear water, and enjoy a snack at the concession stand.
