Order from a tablet to your traditional Japanese Booth or Go super tradition and sit on the floor. The service here is so quick. Locals play a game here where you time how quick your beer comes after you order through the tablet system.

Kotobuki is our favourite sushi joint in Brisbane. Their fusion rolls are the best. Try the Kotobuki roll (tempura fried, chicken and avocado), lion king (salmon) or the ruby roll (spicy tuna). Also, curries and katsudon and dumplings are all available and nice too. Order at the counter and they bring it to the table. The staff is all Japanese and very friendly, but the English is still a barrier for some of them, so be patient and you'll be rewarded with many smiles.

Wonderful fine dining experience. Beautifully presented food, attentive and very experienced staff, served and coversed with our table to make the most excellent lunch I've ever had. Wine selection is very deep and rich with wines from the best cellars in Australia.

This is a popular Italian restaurant on the East side of Brisbane. A lovely ambiance with delicious authentic italian. I recomend trying their 4 cheese Gnocchi, all the food is handmade. Great wine list and the service was efficient and friendly.

Drinks & Nightlife
Great place to party and the house DJs play great music to dance to. The acoustic little bar at the entrance before the main club is probably the best hidden gem around with a decent hard liquor list and cocktails. They also have a ladies night (on thursdays) where you can get free drinks, hair and make up done.

Fun, exciting bar for some after work drinks. Located in the city this is a great place to go to for some after work drinks before heading out. Huge area with a variety of seats both indoors and outdoors. They have heaters outside in the winter, and at least 3 bars. Nice view over the river as well to watch the sun set!

Eleven Rooftop bar is the place to experience Brisbane's nightlife from above and within. As it is an upmarket venue you must wear smart casual or you may not get let in - great atmosphere, the drinks are reasonably priced, friendly staff and fantastic views!

Great place to have a picnic as a family or with a date. Taking the kids out for an easy free day in nature is great. Plenty of opportunity for them to use their imagination, stretch their legs and have a good night sleep that evening. Japanese Gardens and nature walks are really pleasant. The restaurant/cafe is a good size and has a good spread of basic choices.

Arts & Culture
One of the great places to visit if you're in Brisbane either as a tourist visiting or a local yourself. The exhibit changes throughout seasons and they are all interesting. The main exhibit usually will always have an entry price but it's well worth it. You just have to check the website for all the previous ones they have done. Good place to go on quiet dates and get "cultured".

Excellent facility for all of the cultural events that are held. Would recommend coming early if you would like to buy food or drink as the bar can be quite busy during each event.

Entertainment & Activities
Possibly one of the best cinemas in Brisbane, tickets are way cheaper than normal and food is also decently priced. Sushi bar conveniently located to the left of it, so no shortage of food options. Arcade area is the largest I have ever seen in any cinema I’ve been to, nearly as big as a stand alone arcade. Huge screens but seats can get a bit dirty from my experience. Overall, this is a great cinema and it’s worth a shot trying out.
