One of seven geothermal sites on the west side of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Valley view has half a dozen natural rock pools fed by geothermal springs. Campsites and cottages are available. FYI, clothing is optional here so you might see a bit more than you bargained for. Put on some dark sunglasses and go for it. The hot springs experience is well worth the trip and you will undoubtedly meet some interesting people.

Beautiful lake setting close to Westcliffe. Fishing isn't that great in the lake but better below the dam in Grape Creek. A good place to take your kayak.

This place is truly amazing. One man built this castle by himself over the course of 40 years. Incredible feat of engineering. Well worth the short drive from Westcliffe.
