1. Houston Traffic usually begins at 5pm and ends between 8-9pm CST. PLEASE be mindful that our traffic is TERRIBLE LOL. We are a very overpopulated city, therefore keep this in mind when paying for Uber (which is usually higher during traffic times), or when commuting to your designated destination.

• Metro buses are available for $1.25. If You download Google Maps and pick the “bus” route option, it will show you which route to take, which bus stop to walk to and the time your bus is expected to arrive. I do not recommend the bus if you need to be at a specific location at a specific time! However, if this is your only option, please leave 1-2 hours before.

Houston’s weather is very “Tripolar” , you never know what you’re going to get! Some days it’s 40 degrees, and the next it’s hot or raining. I would highly suggest guests to pack for the unexpected . Bring rain gear, snow gear, sun gear and cold gear. 🥴😂

Houston is a very diverse and cultured city! There are SO many activities for children to engage in while in town. However, please be mindful that if you are traveling to Downtown Houston, to make sure you are aware of the busy city. Downtown Houston contains a lot of two-way traffic, trains and metered parking , so keep this in mind when traveling with small children that need strollers etc.,

• If you plan on engaging in the night life or simply traveling to Downtown Houston and are not a fan of paying for parking PLEASE Uber. It is waaaaaaay more convenient and waaaaaylighter on your pockets in the long run. HOWEVER, if you are planning to rent a car, please be mindful of the parking fees you would pay at certain clubs and/or Venues in general. (Parking fees range from $10-20)
