Sprawling city park with golf, a huge wave pool, Olympic pool, Water slides, Nature Trails, an ice rink, batting cages, & other outdoor activities. Point also host several events through the year like the Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon race held in May and the Spirit of America Festival on Independence Day (July 4th).

Through education, entertainment, and cultural enrichment, the Princess Theatre Center for the Performing Arts will continue to be a landmark, reflecting the history of Decatur and providing transformative artistic experiences for a multicultural and diverse population.
Since 1983, the Princess Theatre has presented an array of outstanding cultural events, including such award-winning artists as Ray Charles, Cloris Leachman, Loretta Swit and Arlo Guthrie. Programming highlights included the national tours of Broadway musicals such as EVITA, BIG RIVER, NUNSENSE and WILL ROGERS FOLLIES, and concerts by the Glenn Miller Orchestra, jazz greats Dianne Reeves and Chris Botti, bluegrass legends Del McCoury and J.D. Crowe, Jon Batiste and Stay Human and St. Paul and the Broken Bones.
