This large freshwater lake is a stones throw from the beach. It’s got loads of shady trees around it and it’s waters are stained dark red by the leaves of the trees surrounding it. There are no waves and a sandy gentle sloping entry making it great for little kids and big kids.
It is popular for swimming, picnics, wind surfing, kayaking, SUP, or simply to freshen up after a beach swim/play. My kids love this beach!
