Our King neighborhood has classic Portland charm- houses of different styles, friendly people, and walkable blocks. As a close-in city neighborhood, parking can be tricky, but you are always welcome to stop and unload luggage onto our porch before parking your car. Or- if we’re home, we’ll come help you unload!
Public transit is quick and easy on Trimet bus, accessible one block away on MLK; frequent service will get you downtown within minutes. Just down the street, you can also rent a self-serve bike to tool around our flat, bike-friendly neighborhood.
In our 17 years here in this house, we have not had one instance of crime or unsafe incident- but if you are coming home after dark and would like, we’re more than happy to meet you at your car and walk you to the house. We want to make you comfortable!
