The Blue Gill Grill is a floating restaurant located at Holiday Marina at nearby Tim's Ford Lake. The menu is good marina/lake oriented and they typically have live music on the week ends. Think a perfect spot for Zac Brown and a little too far inland for Jimmy Buffet.

Tim's Ford State Park offers a host of outdoor recreational activities. It's across the spectrum from hiking to fishing and an outstanding golf course. The lake is a wonderful and peaceful area. Rentals are available for canoeing and kayaking. The tail waters of the dam offer some of Tennessee's best trout fishing year round.
