Sightseeing

Sights that I reckon can't be missed.
A must! Option to walk up via Skeleton Gorge in Kirstenbosch or Platteklip Gorge on Table Mountain Road and then get the cable car down. There's a restaurant at the top. If walking, watch the weather, leave early morning so plenty of daylight if you take long to ascend, take water & sunscreen, be safe & sensible.

Parks, picnic spots, playgrounds

Beautiful outdoor urban parks (that we love) where you can stroll, take the kids, picnic or just enjoy nature.
We love this park. Walk, have a picnic, let the kids play in the playgrounds or run free. Beautiful biodiversity garden.

Child friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Have a bite to eat while the kids play in the park, or take your own picnic. A firm favourite for the kids are the Las Paletas ice lollies sold by the restaurant. The park is technically separate to the restaurant even though on the same property. So one can just visit the park without eating at the restaurant.
