Walks

My favourite place for an evening stroll. You can drive up to the car park, walk through the gardens and around the scenic drive. Small but beautiful gardens.

A walk around the Lake is a must. Only 2.8km, mostly flat and very pretty. Simply cross King Street, and you’ll be at the smaller end of the Lake.

Highlights of Daylesford

So many wonderful places to visit and enjoy. You probably already know that the restaurant at the LakeHouse has a wonderful reputation (although my favourite special occasion meal is actually lunch at Du Fermier in Trenham), and that the mineral baths in Hepburn (book a private bath) are popular for massages, etc., so here I’ve listed my ten favourite places in Daylesford. You’re welcome to call if you need more suggestions!
A trip to the Sunday morning market is also a good idea for fruit, veg, and excellent pastries & bread!
