Head to Pahrump for the 8th Annual Silver State Chili Cook-Off at Petrack Park on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15. Enjoy red chili, chile verde, vegetarian chile and so many more chili varieties! This event will also host various vendor booths, live entertainment, a car show and car auction, games and horseshoe tournament and so much more! Chili tasting tickets will be $10 for 12 tasting tickets! Proceeds benefit NOTO/No to Abuse non-profit. Same all the chili varieties and cast your votes for your favorites!

Enjoy three days of celebrating Southern Nevada’s old west heritage at the Wild West Extravaganza and Blue Grass Festival. There will be a youth rodeo, outhouse races, 4-H activities, a variety of vendors including western themed booths and more! Entertainment includes a trail ride and staged gun fighters just like the old west with audience participation is encouraged to boo the villain. Admission to this family-friendly festival is FREE!

Explore the park’s unique landscape and dark night skies that help us better understand the wonders beyond our world. This event is a collaboration between the park, Death Valley Natural History Association, NASA, and many other organizations. Death Valley offers some of the best stargazing in America. The International Dark-Sky Association has designated Death Valley National Park as a Gold Tier Dark Sky Park, the highest rating of darkness. During the day, the Dark Sky Festival features guided hikes, ranger talks, family programming, and an exploration fair.
