A really beautiful walk that can be anywhere from 1-12km long. Lovely views of Killcare and coastal beaches, whales (at the right time of the year). Well paved. Have lunch or breaky at Killcare to start/finish your walk.

A more challenging walk. Part of the Great North Walk. Approx 6km return trip, a few steep sections. Some really beautiful views, including Warrah Trig lookout.

Quite a few good parks and play areas walking distance from our home. The Box at Ettalong has a good one for littler kids, Jasmine Greens has areas to cater for all ages.

Jump on the National Parks website- quite a few bush walks around the coast have Aboriginal engraving sites accompanying them.

You are walking distance from the shops and beaches of Ettalong & Umina. There’s a taxi tank in Umina near the library & buses travel regularly along Trafalgar & Ocean Beach Roads. Woy Woy station is the nearest train station, approx 4km away. Uber does also now exist on the coast, although mainly during peak times (weekends).

Ettalong, Umina and Ocean Beach all have off-leash sections. Killcare and Macmasters Beach do too. McEvoy oval is a good dog park, and there’s a nice green space behind the netball courts at Ettalong for dogs too. Check the Gosford Council website for more details.
