The Halifax Oval is located here and in the winter has free ice skate rentals in the winter and bikes/rollerblade in the summer! There is also a free outdoor swimming pool. Check online for open swim/lane swim times.

This is one of my favorite spots in the city. There is a wonderful rooftop patio with a 360 view of the city and the harbour. It has been nominated as one of the the worlds most beautiful libraries!
