**To note: NWT Brewing is closed Sunday and Monday. Bullocks Bistro is closed on Sunday. Copperhouse is closed on Monday.
*NWT Brewing Company is a 5 minute walk from our place-so no need for a cab after a night cap, just walk home!
*Bullocks Bistro is also a 5 minute walk from our place, in Old Town, and you'll want to walk home after because generally people leave and have over eaten!
*Flamecraft Grill N Chill is also a short walk from our place, in the Old Town. Fairly new, we love their steak!
*Copperhouse is across town from us and would require driving or taking a cab.
*Javaroma and Birchwood are both up town. Walking 15-20 minutes.
The Woodyard is a local favourite for its fun atmosphere and great food!

*Weaver and Devore is a 5 minute walk from our place. Very iconic place/family/service in Yellowknife. Go upstairs to see a full selection of Canada Goose. Don't see your size or colour-ask them, they have a whole storage unit.
*The Gallery of the Midnight Sun is also a short walk in the other direction with a lot of interesting items.

We also offer fly-in day trips to the East Arm of Great Slave Lake, and Virginia Falls into Nahanni National Park.

Have you noticed one of the four mini lighthouses in Yellowknife?
Infact, they give a daily aurora forecast! One of them is near us, in front of the Gallery of the Midnight Sun (this store is in the guidebook) and you might enjoy checking it out and getting a picture by it!
Astronomy North has an accurate aurora forecast. They also have a lot of information; they have collected seven years of aurora viewing data, broken down monthly, year after year, on the number of nights the AuroraMax all sky camera has viewed the aurora.
