Local attractions and sightseeing
Our favourite walks are either around Harbour St and the High St and then cutting through to the beach perhaps towards the Neptune pub.
Or walking to the harbour and heading east perhaps to The Beach Cafe and a stroll along Tankerton beach.
It is possible to rent bicycles and there are plenty of routes such as The Crab and Winkle Way.
Further afield you could visit Mount Ephraim Gardens or of course Canterbury, Margate, Ramsgate, Deal etc
Watch the fishermen unloading their catch and watch a haul of whelks at the processing plant at the entrance to the harbour. Wander along past the series of green huts offering local crafts food and drink, or take a boat trip from the Harbour. There are several tours on offer. Check them out!

What can I say!
Obviously the cathedral is amazing and possibly the most famous Christian structure in England.
Worth visiting alongside a day out in Canterbury.

Slightly tricky to locate, enter into Google Maps, at the end of the East Quay, Whitstable Harbour. It'll be worth the visit! They offer a selection of hot and cold seafood with local beers and wines.
