Getting Around
Leeds is a very easy to navigate. I typically only travel as far as Headingly, Kirkstall, Bramley, Holbeck and around the city centre. The apartment is a 10 minute walk to the bus station/market. If you get the numbers 6, 97 or 28 they will take you right through the city and up as far as Headingly. The number 56 does the same but also goes up past St James Hospital.
There isn't a bus that goes from the train station to my apartment or the bus station. So, if you're carrying a lot of stuff I'd suggest you get a taxi using Uber or the white cabs that will be directly opposite the entrance to the train station. If the driver doesn't recognise the name "Saxton Apartments" say "Saxton Garden's behind the Ibis Budget" and they'll soon recognise it. Average fair from the train station to my house is about £3.50
