Hearty, competent American fare. This is more of a bike ride or a drive than a walk as it’s almost 4 miles (about an hour walk) up the river from Berm Lane. You can drive there and park and stroll the canal path to see the Bald Eagle’s nest on the island.

Cool stuff
This is a hidden gem, soon to be in the great big structure going up by the river. Meanwhile, you can walk down the canal path from Frenchtown and take in the current contemporary art exhibition, music, movie, poetry reading, performance or other event. Surprisingly beautiful art for such a small town.
