A trip to Gloucester wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the 11th century Gloucester Cathedral, resting place of King Edward II, home of the majestic Great East Window and recently a hugely popular film and television location. Not too challenging, a firm favourite with my boys, great family option, well kept, great location and well maintained. Groundsmen will check tickets on occasion. No dress code and no-one's going to complain if your occasional young golfer turns up without golf shoes. Take care going in and emerging as entrance is onto a treacherous road/bend/dip combo.
