What can say. It's the most crispy and fluffy croissant I have even had. They say it's the best in the world. But you can be the judge of that. Don't go for anything too fancy. An original and a chocolate will be enough. Match it with your favourite coffee.

3 words to describe Collingwood. Cool, Hip and Grungy. Smith St is the High St with plenty of restaurants, Cafe's and bars. At night it turns into an entertainment precinct with late night bars and clubs waiting to be discovered. If you like street art, there are lots in Collingwood especially in the side streets and alleyways.

The main street in Carlton is Lygon street. Its a predominantly Italian area with lots of Italian style restaurants and cafes. It is in close proximity to the University of Melbourne so if you are visiting Carlton, its probably worth stopping by Melbourne Uni for a visit.

Walking
To get around Collingwood and Fitzroy I suggest just plain old fashion walking! There is so much to discover even if you wonder off the track into small alley ways. There are cafes, small boutique shops as well as restaurants that are unique and hidden waiting to be discovered. Gertrude St and Brunswick St is just a few minutes walk away and also accessible via Trams

Tram to the CBD
To get to the CBD tram will be your best option and also the fastest. You can either catch a tram on Gertrude St or on Victoria Parade. Either way its only a couple of mins walk away. If you want a more scenic route, you can walk via East Melbourne crossing Victoria Parade, crossing through Fitzroy gardens and towards the city.
